What they were dealing with
The client's hospitality management system held the financial data, but extracting a clear, consolidated view of P&L across 50+ properties was a slow and manual process. Each property's numbers had to be pulled and assembled separately, making it difficult for the CFO and ownership group to get a timely read on portfolio performance. General managers, meanwhile, lacked a dynamic view of their own property's financials - relying instead on static system exports that offered little room for exploration or comparison. The data was there. What was missing was a layer that could bring it together quickly, present it clearly to different audiences, and allow the business to ask follow-up questions without waiting for another report to be built.
